Home robot setup questions
How much does home robot setup cost?
We're planning to charge £49 for a home readiness survey, £99 to £199 for setup and safety configuration on the day your robot arrives, and from £25 a month for the Robot Care Plan. We're not taking bookings yet. For the robots themselves, see how much a home robot costs in the UK.
When will home robots be available in the UK?
1X NEO can be ordered now, with US deliveries due in 2026 and UK deliveries planned for 2027. Tesla is targeting consumer sales of Optimus for the end of 2027. Figure 03 is in home testing and has no consumer date yet. More detail: 1X NEO, Tesla Optimus, Figure 03.
What happens in a home readiness survey?
The plan is a video walk-through of your home, checking broadband strength in each room, where the dock should go, stairs and trip hazards, and which rooms should be camera-free. You'd get a robot-ready report.
Why set camera-free zones before a home robot arrives?
Home robots use cameras to see and map your home. Deciding before the first mapping run which rooms should stay camera-free, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, means the robot is set up that way from day one. Read our home robot privacy guide.
